Flame Engineering in association with University of Arkansas developed a Poultry House Sanitizer in 2004 to help sanitize chicken/turkey houses. The Red Dragon sanitizer applies heat over 2000° and maintains 1400°. This can be used directly after the birds are pulled from the house and taken to market. For best results, we recommend de-caking first. If you clean out, you can also Sanitize directly on bare dirt or concrete floors. The Sanitizer is killing 99% of all bacteria, pathogens including AI (Avian Influenza) also flaring off ammonia. Moving at speeds of 1/2 mph (0.8 Kph.) through a standard 40′ x 500′ (12.2-meter x 152.43 meters) house can be sanitized in about one hour with propane fuel consumption of 25 gallons (95 liters) per house. This practice is proven to give the birds a better living environment to help weight gain and lower mortality rate. Flame Engineering, Inc. is the leading manufacturer of propane powered equipment and with over 60 years of experience and takes pride in all we do!
