Additional options include nail-on keyway systems (available in metal or plastic) and recess keyway systems.
A full array of load-transfer options is available at BoMetals. Each system offered facilitates weight transfer across control joints while preserving the integrity of the slab on both sides of the joint. BoMetals offers flat plate dowel sleeves and plates, flat plate dowel baskets, and reinforced edges, all available in various thicknesses. In addition, smooth round dowels and dowel sleeves can be paired with round dowel basket assemblies, all made at the BoMetals plant. Pecafil® is a stay-in-place formwork designed to reduce the required steps, save time, and reduce waste. It is lightweight enough to require no lifting equipment. Using recyclable materials enables cleaner pours and easier installation, making it a significant advancement for the industry. Also from MaxFrank, we are bringing Fradiflex® and the easy-to-splice metal waterstop to market. It requires no welding at the joints, is easy to position, can be bent to create sharp angles or smooth curves, and is quickly installed.
